1. What are the costs associated with the spring Recital?
Please budget the below costs
- Recital fee $70 - $90 (Based on the number of students w/ in the family). With 1 student you will receive 2 FREE tickets. With 2 or more students you will receive 3 tickets.
- Costumes: $50-$80 per costume
- Additional tickets are $10 each
2. What attire does my student wear to class? IF STUDENT IS NOT DRESSED CORRECTLY THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE.
- Babies/Minis- Pink or black leotard. Pink tights. Ballet skirts are permitted. Pink leather ballet slippers and black patent leather tap shoes.
- Rest of Students- Hair pulled back and no jewelry.
- Ballet: Must be in Leotard and tights. Can add ballet skirts or DANCE shorts.
- Tap/Jazz/Modern- Leotard, Capri dance pants or dance shorts.
- Shoes
- Tap- black leather split sole jazz tap
- Jazz- nude half boot
- Modern- nude lyrical
3. If my student should miss class is there a make up class?
Yes, a make up class is available. Please check on line or in the lobby for a make up schedule.
4. What class should my student register for?
This is a topic that either Christy or Leslie will need to be spoken to in regards. This answer is based on our professional opinion.
5. When is payment due?
The first week of every month. After the 10 th of the month there will be a late fee of $15 charge to the account. AFTER 2 MONTHS OF NON-PAYMENT, THE STUDENT WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO ATTEND CLASS UNTIL THE ENTIRE BALANCE IS PAID.
6. Can payment be made for the entire year?
If payment for the entire year is made up front, half of your last month’s balance will be credited.
7. What age do you start students?
2 years of age
8.Does On Pointe close when schools are closed?
No, On Pointe will call if dance classes are cancelled. Please leave multiple numbers on your contact information so that you can be contacted when there is closure.
8. What holidays is On Pointe closed for?
On Pointe Follows the Lapeer School District only for the below holidays. The exact dates will be given when known.
- Christmas/New Year
- Spring Break
- Memorial & Labor Day
