May 1st is the mandatory new parents meeting. At this meeting new parents will learn all the ins and outs about recital and be able to ask questions!
May 1st all ticket money is due. Whom ever does not pay by that date will go into the second drawing for tickets.
VERY IMPORTANT, We need business & Happy Ads to make our program a success! If you would like your business advertised in the recital program please contact the desk staff. We have extended to May 9th to get them in! An estimated 700 programs are distributed.
Happy Ad for your child! What is a Happy Ad? A Happy Ad tells your child in the recital program congratulations for their hard work this year. It is $5 per line. The ad and payment must be turned into the desk staff by May 9th
Don’t forget your picture appointments on May 3&4 at Shelley’s Photography in Lapeer. If you miss your time slot there will be a $25 charge unless you cancel 24 hours in advance. You must order a package from Shelley to get your picture taken.
FALL & SUMMER PRE-REGISTRATION
Pre-Registration is being held at On Pointe on Monday May 12th from 5-9pm.
Why sign up early?
1. Your child will be guaranteed to be enrolled into their class for fall. We only put so many children in a class.
2. Registration fees will be $15 for the first child & $3 for each additional child. If you wait until after the 12th, the Registration fee will be $25 for the first child and $5 for each additional.
3. You will also get to sign up for Summer Camp. We are going back to the 4 day camp, July 28th-31st. These classes will be in the evening and each day will be a new technique of dance. For ex. Ballet day 1, Jazz day 2, etc. We will try to create a company this year and camp will be mandatory to be considered.
4. Receive Credit On Your Account- since this day is usually only available for current On Pointe Students, bring a friend on the 12th that signs up for summer or fall classes and receive a $5 credit to your account per friend.
There will be no letters going out about fall schedules; we will have your students schedule when you come in on the 12th!
We have scheduled our Hadley Hall Mandatory Rehearsal. It is on Friday May 16th from 4-9:30pm. Specific times are in the Rehearsal & Recital Information for all rehearsals and recital.
Mandatory Back Stage Helper Meeting on Mon May 19th at 7pm. We need everyone that signed up to help back stage at this meeting.
As usual we need BACKSTAGE HELPERS! We need parents to work their children’s group back stage. You must work both Sat & Sun. It is too confusing when we have to switch out parents. You will receive one free ticket for each day you help. There is a sign up sheet in the lobby. WE TRULY APPRECIATE YOUR HELP!!!!
Please remember to put names on all costumes, tights, shoes and accessories so they do not get lost recital weekend!
