On Pointe School of Dance 2008 Rehearsal & Recital Information
ALL REHEARSALS ARE MANADATORY TO BE IN THE SPRING RECITAL
Hadley Hall Rehearsal:
3551 Hadley Rd, Hadley MI 48440
When: Friday May 16th, 2008
Who: ALL CLASSES
Dress: Dance class attire with hair pulled back, no make up needed
Times: Below times are estimation only!!!
All Minis and Ballet 1/Tap 1: Please be at the hall by 4:30 pm. Rehearsal will begin at 5pm and will end approximately at 7pm.
All other classes must be at the hall at 6:30pm and rehearsal will end approximately at 9:30PM.
Parents: Only one parent is allowed to stay inside the hall during the rehearsal. The hall is too small for too many people. There are NO siblings allowed inside the hall.
Dress Rehearsal: Saturday March 31, 2008
Where: Clarkston High School 6093 Flemings Lake Rd; Clarkston, MI 48346
Times: Below times are all estimated. The staff is working on lighting, spacing, dances, etc. There are too many important items to rush rehearsal.
All Minis and Ballet 1/Tap 1: Must Be at School at 12:30PM, rehearsal will start at 1:00PM and end approximately at 3PM.
Please have your child’s hair and makeup completed when arriving at the school. DO NOT wear costumes, bring them in a garment bag.
All other classes must be at the school by 2:30 PM and rehearsal will end approximately at 8PM.
Make up: Stage makeup must be applied prior to arriving at the high school. If you need a make up face to follow for application of makeup, please ask the desk staff.
Hair: Pull hair straight back into a low bun at the knap of the neck. Short bangs are acceptable. If your child has short hair, please pull the sides up. (All hair must be away from the face)
Costumes: Please carry the costumes in a garment bag to the school. We do not want an accident to happen while in costume. Please place the name of the student inside each costume, tight, shoe etc. Please make sure that your child has every piece of their costume or they will not be allowed to go on stage. There are many label companies on line that you can purchase labels to iron on to the costume or just write on the tags.
Backstage rules: One Female is only allowed backstage to drop off and pick up the child. All others must stay in the lobby or auditorium. If this is impossible than speak to the desk staff prior to rehearsal.
Dressing Rooms: Every student has an assigned dressing room. There will be signs posted for where to take your child. If you are not a room leader, you must drop your child off to the room, sign them in and go to the auditorium. The group leaders will take care of dressing the child and getting them ready to go on stage. It makes it too confusing when there are too many people in the dressing rooms.
Room Check In and Out Rules: A Female must drop the child off at their assigned dressing room. You must sign the child in at the door. Bring the child’s things to their group leader. After Rehearsal and Recital, the same person must pick up the child and sign them out with the room leader.

Times: All students must be in their dressing rooms by 1PM Sharp!
Must be on time, the show begins at 2PM Sharp!!!
Everything above in the dress rehearsal section, applies to recital day.
There will be flowers, DVD’s, additional tickets and recital t-shirts for sale in the lobby
Finale: Each group will come back on stage and take their finale bow. Then they will be taken back to their room. Please wait until all announcements have been made before going to pick up your child. We do not want any interruptions for the other students.
